Supermarket Chic

I don’t have as much time as I’d like to shop these days. My shopping tends to be around popping to the supermarket and buying essentials, so often my time ‘browsing’ is done with my toddler in tow, so I have very limited time to look at anything!

The supermarket is not a place that I instantly think of as ‘chic style’, not in the UK at least, but supermarkets have upped their game and some of the clothing is on a pair with high street clothing. I think in the US it is more commonly accepted that people shop at their local Target store, but you can’t argue with it especially when they have such great items on offer. It’s very convenient and they are especially good with supplying good kids clothes.

Some top picks to choose from – I actually bought this dress and it looks great with a brown belt. It is quite long, so depending on your height, this is something to take into consideration.

Eighties supermodel Yasmin Le Bon has done a collection with George, and there are some lovely pieces to choose from such as this broderie anglaise dress. She still looks amazing at 60!

This poplin dress is also lovely at £18.00, it is 100% cotton and you can also wear it with the straps up or down.
